Community Food Forest and Outdoor Classroom

This design project turned an unused lot into edible and healthy abundance at a community health clinic seeking to bring fresh nutritious food to low-income communities. This large garden featured raised beds for vegetable production, an array of fruit trees and perennial vegetables, medicinal and therapeutic herbs, a greenhouse, gathering spots to enjoy the garden, an outdoor classroom, and a compost station.
