Front yard Garden of Eatin'

This design features fruit trees, berries, herbs, and pollinator foods. In addition rainwater captured by the roof is directed into garden swales to passively deep irrigate the plantings. Estimated rain capture per year at this location is over 10k gallons, assuming average annual rainfall.

A local non profit called Sustainable Solano hired me for this project and filmed me giving six short tutorials online where I cover topics such as Design, Swale & Berm, Healthy Soil & Sheet Mulching, Planting Fruit Trees, Food Forest Layers, and Irrigation.
